Celebrating Father's Day

It is well known, that Father's Day is not as well celebrated as Mother's Day. However, we are taught that we should always honor our parents, despite what our feelings maybe. It says in Exodus 20:12 NIV "Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you."

Here are a few ideas of how you can celebrate and honor your dad:

For the golfers in your family, take your dad on a Father's Day outing. There are courses in many cities that are offering 2-person's scramble where a father/daughter or a father/son can play. Or take him to a well recommended hotel or resort from Travel Channel's recommended locations; From Hawaii to Las Vegas to Costa Rica. Which dad wouldn't enjoy an exotic trip?
