Setting Goals for 2018 and Reflecting on 2017

2018 Goal Setting

I'm so excited because I received my Passion Planner in the mail 2 days ago. I couldn't wait to rip open the package last night so that I could get started on my 2018 goal setting today-the first day of the new year.

A fellow networker from England informed me about Passion Planner at Brendon Burchard's High Performance Academy in 2016. I purchased it and used it for the first time in 2017. Throughout all of last year, it has kept me on track with my both my personal and business goals. 

Passion Planner is not a regular planner, it's an appointment calendar, goal setting guide, journal, sketchbook, gratitude log & personal and work to-do lists all in one notebook.

We all need a tool to help us to layout our long-term and short-term plans for 2018 and beyond. I love Passion Planner because I'm a visual learner, and I love to write everything down. This is how I keep organized. There are other options out there like Evernote that will help keep you organized.

Reflecting on 2017

Before setting our goals for 2018, it behooves us to reflect on 2017 to see how we can improve in 2018Josh Ellis, Editor-in-Chief of Success Magazine, posed these 4 questions that I would like to suggest that we explore not only for ourselves but also for our events:

1. What was your biggest breakthrough & how can you build on it?

2. What did you learn from your biggest failure or mistake?

3. Who helped you the most, and how can you be a greater resource to them?

4. What have you been wanting to do, but haven't done yet? Why?

After answering those 4 questions, rate yourself on how you feel overall about the past year from 1-10, 10 being the highest. Then assess your priorities for yourself and your events this year, and plan from there.
